Thomasina and Mike…

This wedding was a very special one for me. My good friend and fellow Baltimore photographer, Lindsay Hite, asked me to photograph her wedding in May so I flew out to Boston and spent the weekend with Lindsay in front of the lens for a change. It was a beautiful wedding and they really let me do what I wanted creatively so I incorporated one of my favorite film cameras, a Hasselblad, in to the days coverage to give it something special. Thanks so much Lindsay and Russell for everything and making me such a big part of your day.

Krystina and David came through NYC from Miami for a quick weekend trip and we met up at Central Park for their engagement pictures. We spent the late part of the morning exploring and making some great pictures with what Central Park has to offer. Jazz musicians lined the walkways giving us a nice sound track to work to while the sun beamed down. We couldn’t have had a better day.

A few weeks back I spent a beautiful spring day in New Rochelle, a wonderful neighborhood in North part of Manhattan, photographing Renee and Patrick. We started later in the day to take advantage of the wonderful light, first taking pictures at the park and then on their beautiful boat. I love heading out on the water and I was really excited to head out with the two of them. We drove around a bit, enjoyed the fresh air and made some great pictures. Thanks for the great time Renee and Patrick!

On Sunday, April 25th, I attended the beautiful Tremont Grand Design Day show, where each of their uniquely designed rooms was outfitted with one very talented designer and one other skilled vendor ranging from photography to catering. I was in an elegantly dressed room designed by Michele Damon Events. A special thanks Michele for inviting me out. Michele did an amazing job with her room and really showed off her talents. The first set of images below are from Michele’s room where I was showing my work next to Write Style (invitations, stationary), Wicked Willow (florist), Sugar Bakers (cakes), Modified Funk (band) and We Party (event rentals).
Other designers featured in this post are (order as they appear):
Drew Vanlandingham (peach and light green tables)
Encounters (purple and green)
Perkins Eufforia (solid white)

A few weeks back I shot Chris and Kim’s wedding here in MD. The weather held out, but it was bit chilly. Despite the cool air, the wedding was full of warmth because Chris and Kim are such wonderful people. During the reception I managed to find some interesting light and grabbed the two of them for some impromptu portraits.
